about, please fill out one of our visitor forms. Also, we invite you to use our
child care services for infants through children in kindergarten,
located in the church building’s basement.
SUNDAY SCHOOL News
No Sunday School during the month of July.
Mark’s Sabbatical
Years ago the Session
granted pastors at OOC a one-month sabbatical every four years. Associate
Pastor, Mark Tucker, will be taking his first one from Tuesday, June 12 to
Wednesday, July 11.
Staff “Away” Time in July
Office closed Wednesday,
July 4. Also, in two weeks
Durinda Hood will be away on vacation July 8 through 22. No substitute for
Durinda while she is away!
OOC Directories—they are out!
Look for one with your name. There are extra copies on a first come, first
serve basis, but if we run out of them, and you want one, please put your name
on the sign-up sheet so I’ll know how many more copies to make. If you are new
and need a binder or if your old binder has worn out, please go ahead and pick
up one.
Please correct Joel &
Cyndi Keen’s phone number. The original number assigned to them wasn’t the
one they actually got. Here’s the new, correct number: 636-922-7754.
It seems that the moment we
print the directories there is all ready the need to correct! If there are any
other changes, please e-mail them to the church office and we’ll publish them.

House Church on Wednesday
Please join us this
Wednesday, June 27. We will hear from Triona Winter about her
extended mission trip to India. Lots of pictures! Pot-luck supper at 6 p.m.
Meeting at 7:00 p.m. Child-care offered during the meeting, but you need to let
Stacey Stefanski know TODAY, or sign your child up on the clipboard
circulating.
July House Church will be on Wednesday, July 18, the third Wednesday. Joel
& Jessica Rinn, OOC members, will be with us sharing about their work
in Italy. Mark your calendar!
OOC Summer Children's Program
for children ages 4 through entering 6th
grade
July 31-Aug. 4 — 9:00 am-noon
Register now online at
www.oldorchardchurch.org. We still need volunteers to make this program
successful! Specifically, we need classroom helpers (no teaching
responsibilities). Please contact Kelli McKie (636-230-5754) to help. See also

We need a park/train station

Next Parlor Fellowship
Our next Parlor Fellowship
will be Sunday, July 8. Annie Kuhn and Emily Wicker are hosting. Menu: Fruit tray for 10-12; hummus and your choice
of: pita bread OR veggies; peanut
butter & jelly sandwiches cut into triangles and fruit juice.

Ministries
Nursery is offered for infants & children through
Kindergarten age. Our nurseries are in the church building’s basement!
Infants’ &
Toddlers’ nursery: Ages 0 - 35 months…Begins at 10:00 a.m.
Preschool nursery: Ages
3 & 4…Begins at 10:00 a.m.
Ages
5 – K…Begins at 10:50 a.m.
Children ages 3 and 4 can
be in the nursery at the beginning of worship. The older children (5 - K)
remain with their parents until 10:50 a.m., at which time they will be dismissed
to join the other preschoolers in the nursery.
Parents: Please
pick up your children from the nurseries immediately after worship. Thank you!

Ministries’ 25th Anniversary Celebration, Sunday, August 26, 2007, 2:00
p.m. at 111 East Waymire Avenue, Webster Groves. See our delegate to Webster
Rock Hill Ministries, Phil Patterson, if you have questions. This will be an
excellent opportunity to learn more about this ministry and its work.

Our church’s 26th
Anniversary will be celebrated on Sunday, September 30. Picnic will be
after worship.

Bring Food Any Sunday
You are invited to bring non-perishable foods on any Sunday. Soups, box meals, canned foods, rice, pasta, tomato products, ramen noodles, cereal/muffin mix. Container is in the foyer. Food is given to a food pantry (often Grace & Peace’s). Grace & Peace most often runs out of rice and fruit.
