Welcome Visitors!

We invite you to fill out one of the visitor forms from the thin books in the pews to help us get to know you. Please place it in the offering plate. Thanks!

Please also note... Part of our gladness on the Lord’s Day is visiting with each other! But before the service please greet each other outside or in the parlor so that the sanctuary can remain quiet for those who want to meditate on the Lord.

Sunday Fellowship Meal

There will be a meal after worship next Sunday, July 24 at Milligan House. Please sign up to come and bring food. See Jan Rau, 314.644.0886, our hostess, if you have questions.

Overture Deadline  & New Editor Wanted!

Today is the deadline for the next Overture. Please place your articles in the Overture mail slot in the hallway.

Melissa Nelson is taking her last turn this week as Editor for the week. Thanks to Melissa & her faithful service!

Yes, we need a new editor to take turns with 3 other people to put together our newsletter, the Overture. The new editor will start in September (taking a turn approximately once every 2 months). Requirements:  computer with Microsoft Word (or conversion to Word). You would also make the copies on the church's copy machine (Durinda will run your copies if the Overture is ready by Friday.). See Durinda Hood (314.962.3795) for more details or if interested in serving. Or talk to any of the current editors (Susan O’Neal, Melissa Nelson, Jon Easterling, Heather Sparkman) for more about what this service involves.

 Food Pantry

Bring canned food and non-perishables:  canned soup, canned vegetables, meats:  tuna, Spam, salmon, chili, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, canned fruit, etc.

One of the pantries we help is in need of tuna fish.
Remember to bring individual sized containers as many recipients are on foot. Thank you!

—Durinda Hood, for the Mercy Ministry

Next Family Movie Night:

Friday, July 22, 7:00 pm “Spy Kids” Rated: PG

Please invite your friends and join us for another Family Movie Night! Popcorn and drinks will be provided at the show on Friday, July 22 at 7 p.m.

Summary:  “Carmen and Juni think their parents are boring. Little do they know that in their day, Gregorio and Ingrid Cortez were the top secret agents from their respective countries. They gave up that life to raise their children. Now, the disappearances of several of their old colleagues forces the Cortez' return from retirement. What they didn't count on was Carmen and Juni joining the ‘family business.’ This is a fun and exciting live-action movie that emphasizes the importance of family.”

Questions?  See Mark Tucker or Kelli McKie.
