Welcome Visitors!

Please also note... Part of our gladness on the Lord’s Day is visiting with each other! But before the service please greet each other outside or in the parlor so that the sanctuary can remain quiet for those who want to meditate on the Lord.

Movies at Milligan House

Jeden Tag, jede Sekunde triffst Du eine Entscheidung, die Dein Leben verdndern kann. (English translation: Every second of every day you're faced with a decision that can change your life.)

We invite you and a friend, relative or stranger off the street to contemplate this statement as we watch and discuss the film "Run, Lola, Run" at this month's Movie@Milligan House, Friday, Jan. 28 at 6:30 pm. This is a German movie with English subtitles.

Movies@Milligan House are free and open to anyone (Christian or otherwise) interested in watching and discussing movies. Complimentary pizza and child care are provided. For more info, see Jay Simmons or Matt Philip, or visit the OOC web site (www.oldorchardchurch.org). Please RSVP, if possible, especially if you need child care.

Note: The film is rated R for some violence and language and involves some sexual innuendo.

Lessons from King David

for 21st Century Christians

For the next couple of months we will be using the Sunday School hour to unpack the sermons on King David, sharing practical insights with each other from the extraordinary life of this very broken but God-loving man who is referred to in Scripture as a man “after God’s own heart.”

Come with questions, come with a desire to apply the truths of the Word of God to your life—to your work, your relationships, your wrestlings with God.

Jay Simmons and I will be class co-leaders, but Jay will lead through January 30, the last day of my new members’ class.

                                                                                —Ron Lutjens
